A Day Out for the Huntress x HaloPSA x NinjaOne MSP Masterclass
We loved being a sponsor for the Huntress x HaloPSA x NinjaOne masterclass at Optus Stadium! This jam-packed day served up opportunities for networking, valuable insights, and quality time with some of our amazing clients. Our very own CEO Gabby even took to the stage. Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat, and to the incredible teams who put this event together. Want to come along with us for a recap? Catch Yael’s vlog below.
It’s Not a Match – MSP Marketing Strategies to Swipe Left
Gabby was there to help you find the perfect match on Valentine’s Day – for your MSP’s marketing strategy! Let’s take a closer look at her decisions and why you should swipe left on the following practices.
Spammy emails
If you’re sending too many low value emails, your clients are going to lose interest and stop opening them. This affects click-through rates, wastes resources, and damages client relationships. It’s a no from us!
Generic stock images
If you want to blend in, generic stock images can help. When you use them in socials or on your website, you’re missing out on the opportunity to add an all-important human element.
No clear tone of voice
Without a consistent TOV, your messaging can lack the confidence and alignment it takes to build a strong and unique identity. A clear TOV is essential to build relationships, trust, and keep your brand recognisable.
Why Photos Are Key for Your Marketing Approach
You might have picked up on the fact we don’t love generic stock images, so now let’s look at why we consider using photos of your team best practice.
Build familiarity
Existing clients can recognise your staff or put a face to a name, potential clients can “meet” your team, and you can provide an insight into your office culture. This also benefits prospective employees! In each instance, these photos help to build familiarity, which makes people feel more comfortable and confident to reach out and engage.
Increase engagement
Pictures of your team will make a huge difference to social post engagement. People want to see you and your team, what you’ve been up to, and your accomplishments. These pictures make prime social content, so ensure you’re regularly taking photos at events, around the office, at team lunches, and even of any office pets (cute dogs = engagement, always). It’ll become a habit before you know it!
3 Common MSP Marketing Mistakes
More wisdom from Gabby – this time it’s the common mistakes we often see that can seriously hurt your marketing efforts. If you’re doing any of the following and want some support, we’re here to help.
1. There’s no marketing strategy
A strategy is key to define marketing and business goals, and to create a plan to achieve them. This supports brand stickiness, engagement, and alignment, and stops you from getting distracted or relying solely on referrals for new clients.
2. Generic, automated posts and content
While these solutions can get your marketing quickly up and running, they stop you from being able to position your company in the market, build your brand, or connect with your target audience. You could even be posting the same blogs and social content as your competitors.
3. Using the wrong language
If your proposals or pitch decks are full of complex tech jargon instead of outcomes, you’re probably not communicating the full value of your services for potential clients. Keeping your audience front of mind and speaking their language is critical to ensure they can be confident and understand the benefits.
